About this project
We are building the world's largest index of Christian music, mapped verse by verse to the scripture behind it. Every song is annotated for what it says and where it says it from, so music can be found by more than popularity: by its ability to speak truth, soften hearts, and do that in step with God's word.
The average Christian spends about fifteen minutes a day in the Bible and close to four hours listening to music. We are not asking anyone to listen less. We map every song to the scripture behind it, so the hours you already spend listening reinforce the reading.
Music does three things well. It gives voice to what you feel, it binds a room together, and it forms what you believe. The third one gets the least attention and lasts the longest. It is the one we build for.
Every song in the index is annotated across dozens of dimensions: the verses it quotes or echoes, the emotional arc it moves through, the doctrinal idea it is grounded in, and the situations it lands in.
